Optimizing Your Curing Process:

While our 51 LED UV Curing Torch is powerful, it's important to use it effectively for optimal results, especially with UV primers:

• Recommended Area: For best results when curing UV primers, we recommend limiting the repair area to no larger than 3" x 3" (approximately the size of your hand or a standard spray-out card).
• Curing Time (Example): For a 3" x 3" area, our UV torch will cure correctly in approximately 3 minutes, provided the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) for your specific primer is followed.
• Check for Full Cure: Always ensure the cured primer has a hard, smooth feel. A rubbery or tacky texture indicates that further UV exposure is needed.

Larger Areas: Curing areas outside of the recommended 3" x 3" will take significantly longer and may not achieve optimal results. For larger repairs, consider our higher-powered Paintex Pro-Cure or Ultra-Cure UV Lamps
